" I really appreciated my time at Oxy. It was an environment where I was able to figure out what I wanted to do in life, and (some) really incredible professors were there to help push you toward achieving more and being ambitious. Some things aren't as great; definitely a culture that can be exclusive, some exasperating bureaucracy, and frustrating moves by the administration... but ultimately I'm so glad I went there and not anywhere else. I found friends who I'll have for the rest of my life, I have relationships with former professors that led to my current employment, and I know that I would not be as good of a person had I not enrolled there. Proud Tiger! "

" Oxy is an incredible school, the students have created an amazing community welcoming to all. Professors are awesome and classes are very engaging. Overall, I would recommend Oxy to students looking for a smaller school with a strong sense of community and rigorous but interesting classes. Students are challenged but professors are always there to offer help along the way. I feel I have gained so much and improved in many areas academically. Social life is not like a traditional party school, since it is smaller. The social scene is fun especially because you will know so many different students across all ages because of the size. Going out on the weekends you meet new people and run into many people you know. The Quad is a great center for social life during the school day. The food is so good, the staff are amazing in dining services. There are lots of options for all dietary restrictions as well. "
