" Great education and social environment. The university provided adequate support for academics as well as space and resources for pursuing interests as well as social engagement in clubs and organizations. "

" Overall, I had a good experience at BU. The classes were challenging, but manageable. I mostly had quality, engaging professors, but occasionally had some professors I did not enjoy. I met a lot of great people through my dorm and clubs. The number of clubs offered is pretty abundant and I'd encourage you to find any club that sounds remotely interesting and sign up. It can be pretty easy to feel buried by all the work that has to be done and isolate yourself...but connecting with others is so necessary for a good collegiate experience. In terms of the food, it's ok, but do you really expect gourmet cuisine at a college campus? I'm sure you'll find something that you enjoy (if you love pasta like I do, you'll be happy). The dining halls offer diverse options and accommodate those with allergies and sensitivities. Lastly, the social scene is pretty great if you're the outgoing type. I was amazed by how much people here liked to party, whether that's on a Friday night or Monday night. If you like to go out, you will not be bored here. Tl;dr: Embrace the academic challenge, be as social you can be through clubs and social settings, and food will grow on you. The classes/professors are rigorous at times but I promise you, it's worth it. If you make friends in your classes, it makes the struggle much more manageable. "

" Great environment, foods and faculty. Attend undergrad then came back for MBA. Great resources. Nature preserve is beautiful especially during fall. Career services are also very helpful. I am overall happy with the education received. "

" The school is not bad. The dining hall food isn't the best but they have a bunch of options within the marketplace and off-campus as well. The staff, faculty and professor are nice and most that I've had so far is pretty understanding about life circumstances and mental wellbeing of their students/ The only thing is that if you need things other than food like new clothes for a formal you should probably just shop online. Also you need a car aside from parking a car is really more beneficial to going to the school. We have transportation but it doesn't bring you everywhere you need or want to go. "

" Please take my ratings with a grain of salt - I'm a doctoral student so my experience is very different from many people's. The academic program has been great, and I would say that the undergrad psych department has excellent opportunities for students who take initiative to seek out unique research experiences. The psych department has a poor ratio of faculty to students - the university really should prioritize hiring additional full-time, tenure-track faculty as it is such a huge department. I know that undergrads often are disappointed with the large class size (and I would be too), but that's not a problem in the graduate program. Administrative staff try their best but there are always going to be bureaucratic snafus at a big school. The campus in general is quite nice - my rating is only so low because the psychology building where my office is located is very old and desperately needs refurbishing. (Scratch that - it ought to be torn down and rebuilt). The sports facilities are nice, I just think the membership fee is too high. I have enjoyed the free facilities (swimming pool, track, disc golf course, etc). The social scene - and I don't mean the undergraduate party life - has been pretty good. There are lots of very busy and/or introverted grad students, but I've still managed to make a lot of friends and have fun during my time in the program. "
