" if you’re incentivised to have a good life here you’ll probably find it. make sure to keep yourself on top of things because it’s very free but that also means you are entirely accountable for yourself "

" I believe that despite being known for some of its controversial decisions, the university does use its resources to sponsor an effective learning environment that tries to reach as many students as possible. It is also a campus, that if faced with polarizing decisions, allows students and faculty to speak up against such decisions, and remains open to discussions in order to reach a compromise that is beneficial to all. " University of Michigan was a great school! There are so many opportunities, honestly the hard part is keeping track of the opportunities. There is also so many people. The downside to that is that it can be hard to make friends, but joining clubs helps a lot. There's a diversity of clubs to fit different kinds of interests. The professors are also super knowledgable about their fields and have tons of stories to share about their experiences. "

" U of M is a very prestigious university and also captures the "party culture" that many students crave. My biggest complaint is that it is NOT CHEAP to go here. Even if you get free tuition, which many students do, living expenses are very high and landlords are unsympathetic. "

" it could have better financial aid for lower income students. social scene is great, lots of clubs to join. classes are super big though so attending office hours to build a relationship with professors is important, or else they won't have a clue who you are. "
