" Overall the education of UofT is really good. We have a very safe campus with facilities available for students. The program itself is very good and the professors are very friendly as well. There are a lot of students in one class so sometimes it's hard to ask questions one on one and we have to book meetings with either the TA or the professor. The food options are great with vegan and halal options being available for students. "

" UofT has one of the best pure math programs in the world, and you won't find the same academic rigour and community support at any other school in Canada. Every year, a significant amount of graduates go to PhD programs at top American schools like MIT, Harvard, etc. If you're looking to study pure math, this is the place to be. "

" Good experience at this university. Classes felt a lot more academic focused than other nearby universities. Unfortunately it's easy to just feel like a cog in a machine where everything is super competitive and you're reduced to just a number. Programs feel unfairly strict when compared to other nearby universities. Knowledge level expected is a lot higher and scores are usually lower. "

" UofT is a great school, one of the best in Canada. However, it is VERY competitive, and tough (especially in STEM). I would have rather went to a school with a better work/life balance and sense of community. There should be more to life than just grinding for the next term test. "
